Earth Day Agamographs

Description

Traditionally, art teachers create agamographs with their students, which are always exciting. However, as wonderful as they are to create in the classroom, they have always been time-consuming and messy. I’m always trying to think of ways to keep the creative and fun elements of art and, at the same time, make them as easy and useful for classroom teachers as possible. That is how I came up with this product!

I love this product so much because it encompasses everything I strive to do with my art integration resources. For this project, I removed much of the “prep and mess” by doing the work on my end. Now, it is much easier for teachers on their end. I love that this project is challenging for the kids and has a HUGE WOW factor.

This resource contains the handouts with the images already spliced together with colors assigned to the various shapes. Students color the images, cut them out, and fold them to create amazing results! There are two designs. The first is a recycling symbol that turns into earth, and the second is water drops that change into a tree.

I created a video that demonstrates the entire process (included when you purchase the resource), included detailed written instructions for teachers and students, and even added quick checklists. I added absolutely everything I can think of to make this easy for teachers and fun for kids.
