End of the Year Activities that Your Students Will “Flip” For!
The end of the school year is a great time to do projects with your students that allow them to reflect on their school year and the progress they have made. It’s also fun to pair these end of the year activities with graphics of summer to help with the anticipation of the months that they so look forward to – we all do right?! I’m highlighting several quick and easy FREE projects you can do with your students.
End of the Year Activities: End-of-Year Personal Reflection & Pop Art Flip Flop Interactive Coloring Page
These two products are great all on their own – however, Mary Beth from Brain Waves Instruction and I have come up with an idea for a neat way to combine them to make this super cute Flip Flop Mobile. First you’ll need to go get the resources (which are free) from both of our stores. Get my “pop art” flip flop interactive color sheet HERE. And get Brain Waves Instruction’s personal reflection freebie HERE. Then watch the video below and get to it!
As you can see we had a lot of fun combining our two free resources to create this Pop Art Flip Flop Mobile as an end of the year reflection project!
More Freebies Videos??
Mary Beth and I seem to enjoy making fools of ourself on video. We have other videos featuring our freebies. You can see this one about our free parts of speech coloring pages for Earth Day HERE and our Free “Thank You” end of the year Freebies HERE.
Watch our “bloopers” video at the end of this post if you are in need of a good laugh – at our expense – we don’t mind!
More End of the Year Activities: Flip Flop Collaboration Poster
My collaboration posters are another end of the year activity that teachers and students flip over! Teachers love the collaborative efforts (many of which incorporate math fact review). Kids love that they get to color, be creative and have fun! In this blog post I am giving you a FREE flip flop collaboration coloring poster for joining my e-mail list. You can watch this quick video of me putting it together to see the final results!
Join my e-mai list and you’ll be able to download this FREE summer collaboration posters as soon as you confirm your subscription!
Kids love to color of course – but so do adults! The photo above was actually taken by a teacher at a staff meeting where all of the teachers at the school worked together to create my “Have a Great Summer” collaboration poster for their students – isn’t that neat!?!
Adult coloring is very popular these days – as you have probably notice. I have an adult coloring book on Amazon and I have some free adult coloring pages specifically designed or teachers. You can read my guest blog post HERE for more on Adult Coloring Therapy for Teachers!
Thanks for reading this far, and, as promised… Our Blooper Video!
Have a great summer!
